In 1990 the Conran Group started its life in an apartment in Butlers Wharf owning one restaurant, one shop and a small design studio. Today we have grown into a unique architecture and design business with restaurants and shops in major cities around the world.

We still have the same aims and beliefs that we did when we first began – to offer our customers excellent quality, first class service and competitive prices in pleasant surroundings. This is the common purpose behind all our activities and the abiding principle to which I hold, whether as a designer, retailer or restaurateur.

The many creative teams at Conran consistently produce innovative designs for architecture, interiors, graphics and homewares while The Conran Shop sells a carefully chosen selection of contemporary, well-designed furniture and home furnishings.
